OBJECTIVES
- Develop research and innovation in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with the view of creating human-centered AI-based systems and applications
- Conduct interdisciplinary research, connecting AI with other disciplines
- Build AI-based applications as a response to real world needs of industry and other sectors, and achieve technological transfer
- Develop human resources by offering AI education for future specialists in AI, training for competences in using AI applications, and understanding of AI by the general public
- Reinforce cooperation with leading universities, research centers, and companies from Romania and abroad in the domain of AI, and establish academy-industry partnership as a win-win scenario
- Promote and implement an approach to open data and open science in AI
- Consider the ethical aspects of AI and the implications of large-scale use of AI on the society
